February 9, 2010 Plan Commission Meeting Minutes
February 9, 2010
The Town of Grant Plan Commission met at 1:00 pm at the Grant Town Hall. Members present were Ken Huebner, Dale Klitz, Gene Mehlberg, Sue Raether and Armond Schmidt. Town Board members present were Richard Britzke and Bill Bowers. Zoning Administrator, Bob Jacobson and Steve Skotzke and guest also attended. Public present at the meeting were Larry Joos and Duwayne (Bucky) Radies.
The meeting was called to order and the agenda was reviewed and accepted – MSC Klitz/Mehlberg .
The minutes were read and approved – MSC Mehlberg/Schmidt
Old Business:
• The Cheese Factory property, N3645 River Street, was discussed. Questions were asked and it was determined that Steve would need to provide a more detailed, schematic drawing showing set backs and dimensions so that we could see the accurate lay out for parking lots, LP tanks, and buildings.
A motion was MSC Schmidt/Klitz to give preliminary recommendation of the Skotzke proposal requesting a combo conditional use permit, zone change and variance to include these accurate set backs so that Steve could contact a surveyor and have these schematic drawings made.
The preliminary approval to the town board indicates that formal approval will be made providing all of the drawings are in compliance with our comprehensive plan.
• Ken will write a letter to Melinda Barlow regarding her request on the Grant Property, APN 018-14330-0010. A copy of the letter recommending the mapping error be corrected will be included in the secretary's book.
New Business:
• Gene will attend the ZCAC meeting February 18th.
Our next meeting will be at 1pm March 30th. We hope to be able to review Steve Skotzke's new drawings and make approval. We requested Bob Jacobson and Board members to attend.
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned MSC Mehlberg/Klitz.
