January 19, 2009
The Caucus for the Town of Grant was called to order at 7:30 p.m. on January 19, 2009 at the Grant Town Hall by Chairman Richard Britzke. A total of eight residents were in attendance. Chairman Britzke stated that he was going to accept nominations for said position so he called for the electors to choose another person to serve as official for the caucus. A motion was made by Mike Fritz/Zach Fritz to nominate Duwayne Radies as chairman of the caucus. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Radies called for nominations for the position of town chairman. A motion was made by Bill Bowers to nominate Richard Britzke. Rick Grunewald seconded the nomination. Mr. Radies called for additional nominations but none were offered. A motion was made by Dale Klitz/Zach Fritz to close the nominations. Richard Britzke will be on the ballot for the position of town chairman.
Mr. Radies called for nominations for the position of supervisor #1. A motion was made by Richard Britzke to nominate Dale Klitz. Zach Fritz seconded the nomination. Mr. Radies called for additional nominations but none were offered. A motion was made by Rick Grunewald/Bill Bowers to close the nominations. Dale Klitz will be on the ballot for the position of supervisor #1.
Mr. Radies called for nominations for the position of supervisor #2. A motion was made by Mike Fritz to nominate Bill Bowers. Rick Grunewald seconded the nomination. Mr. Radies called for additional nominations but none were offered. A motion was made by Dale Klitz/Zach Fritz to close the nominations. Bill Bowers will be on the ballot for the position of supervisor #2.
Mr. Radies called for nominations for the position of town clerk. A motion was made by Richard Britzke to nominate Kay Blum. Bill Bowers seconded the nomination. Mr. Radies called for additional nominations but none were offered. A motion was made by Rick Grunewald/Dale Klitz to close the nominations. Kay Blum will be on the ballot for the position of town clerk.
Mr. Radies called for nominations for the position of town treasurer. A motion was made by Bill Bowers to nominate Rick Grunewald. Mike Fritz seconded the nomination. Mr. Radies called for additional nominations but none were offered. A motion was made by Dale Klitz/Richard Britzke to close the nominations. Rick Grunewald will be on the ballot for the position of town treasurer.
A motion was made by Duwayne Radies/Zach Fritz to close the caucus. Motion carried unanimously. The caucus was closed at 7:15 p.m.
