Town of Grant Plan Commission

On August 4, 2008, the Grant Town Board adopted an ordinance approving the comprehensive plan. Copies of the comprehensive plan are available from the town clerk, board members, plan commission members and on the internet at www.co.shawano.wi.us.

The Town of Grant Plan Commission played a key role in developing the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Grant. The plan commission will continue to function as the entity responsible for reviewing and recommending proposed zoning and subdivision changes in relation to the comprehensive plan. The plan commission reports to the town board.

Town of Grant Zoning Committee

The Town of Grant is under the jurisdiction of Shawano County Zoning. The local zoning committee will assist residents with variances and subsequent county approval for building location and other construction projects. Please contact a committee member for on-site assistance.
